From the first time I held a pencil in my hand, I knew I wanted to write!  My first book was written when I was six.  The first screenplay that I wrote and directed; I was ten.  After graduating college, I stepped away from whimsical writing and devoted my time to meatier subjects; freelancing for newspapers and magazines, political and religious articles.

Writing is not a hobby, something “to do”, but rather, a life-long project, Stepping out in several directions of creativity, I have to admit; whimsical writing is the best!  I often say I never suffer from writer’s block, but writer’s clock.  Not enough time in a day to write, all I want to say!

Raising five sons, (one is still in the nest), I can honestly say I have been mesmerized by children.  Did I tell you I also have seven grandchildren!  Kids have their own little world, and many times I have had the wonderful opportunity to encroach and be apart of their never-ending experiences!  By doing so, I can spin yarns that other children will relate to!

Garrett loves bugs.  He loves them so much, he gives them bug hugs. One day he disobeys his Mom, and something terribly goes wrong!  How could one little secret, one little bug and one little jar, create one big ruckus?  It was so outrageous, that the local television station and newspaper wanted to tell the story!  Read and you will see what happens, when you are Buggy About Bugs!
